What we collect and why
Forms
When you request a quote, send us a message or ask about a franchise, we collect what you type into the form: name, email, phone, zip code and state, and for quote requests your department, station address, number of firefighters and sets of gear, plus your message. We also record the page the form was on, the referring page, your IP address and browser type (to detect abuse), and, if you arrived from an advertisement or campaign link, the campaign labels from that link. We use this to respond to you, to route your request to the RedLine team that serves your area, and to understand which campaigns bring in enquiries.
Analytics
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure how the site is used: pages viewed, links clicked (for example a phone number or a quote button), zip-code searches by area, and whether a form was completed. Analytics data is associated with a browser identifier, not with your name. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers or message contents to analytics.
Advertising
When advertising tags are enabled (Google Ads, and potentially Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok or Microsoft Advertising), they may set cookies to measure whether an ad led to an enquiry and to show relevant ads on other sites. You can turn these off at any time with Your privacy choices in the footer of every page. We also honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out of advertising tags.
Cookies and browser storage
The public site sets no login cookies. Analytics and advertising tools set their own cookies as described above. The site keeps two small records in your browser: the campaign labels of your first visit (kept up to 90 days so we can credit the right campaign if you later send a form) and your privacy choice. Staff who sign in to the website admin receive a session cookie for that purpose only.
Embedded content
Pages may embed videos or other content from third-party sites (for example YouTube). Those sites may collect data about your visit as if you had visited them directly.
Who we share your data with
Form submissions are stored with our hosting providers (Vercel and Supabase, United States) and shared with the independently owned RedLine territory that serves your area so they can respond. Analytics and advertising data is processed by the providers named above under their own policies. We do not sell personal information. To confirm: whether any marketing agency (for example a paid-media partner) receives lead data directly.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are kept in our customer records for as long as we work with your department or until you ask us to remove them. Browser records described above expire automatically. To confirm: analytics data retention setting in Google Analytics (default 2 or 14 months).
Your choices and rights
You can opt out of advertising tags using Your privacy choices in the footer. You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing sales@redlinegearcleaning.com. Residents of states with privacy laws (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and Virginia) may have additional rights under those laws; we will honour them on request.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Form data is stored in an access-controlled database; only RedLine staff and the responsible territory can read it.
