Convenience and Time-Saving

Traditionally, fire departments have had to send their turnout gear out to a brick and mortar cleaning service, which can take days or even weeks to complete. This means firefighters are left without gear for extended periods of time, leaving them at risk for injury should an emergency arise.

With RedLine’s Mobile Extraction Unit®, the cleaning process is done on-site and on the same day, allowing firefighters to have their gear back in use as soon as possible.

Our Mobile Extraction Unit® is also incredibly convenient for fire departments. Unlike traditional cleaning services, there’s no need to transport gear back and forth, which can be a hassle and a waste of time or pay for shipping and rental gear which increases the cost of cleaning significantly.

Our MEU can be set up in the fire station parking lot or another convenient location, allowing for easy access and a quick cleaning process. This not only saves time, but also reduces the risk of damage or loss to the gear during transport.

Thorough Cleaning Process

At RedLine, we are a team of firefighters that take the cleaning process seriously. Our MEU uses state-of-the-art equipment and cleaning solutions to provide a deep, thorough cleaning for your turnout gear.

We use a combination of cleaning agents, ultrasonic technology, and water to remove dirt, debris, and other contaminants from the gear. Our cleaning solutions are specially formulated to break down and remove carcinogens and other harmful substances that may have accumulated on the gear during firefighting operations.

Technology on our MEU helps us decontaminate the gear and remove any hazardous materials that may have settled on the surface. This process is especially important for reducing the risk of cancer and other health issues that are prevalent among firefighters. By cleaning and decontaminating turnout gear on a regular basis, firefighters can reduce their risk of exposure to these dangerous substances and stay safe on the job.

Inspection and Repair Capabilities

Cleaning and decontamination are important aspects of gear maintenance, but they’re not the only ones. Turnout gear is subjected to a lot of wear and tear during operations, which can result in damage or other issues. That’s why RedLine Gear Cleaning’s MEU is also equipped to provide Advanced Inspections of turnout gear.
